Radiologist wanted for hospital in Trøndelag

On behalf of a hospital in Trøndelag, we are seeking an experienced and motivated radiologist for a permanent position.

Trøndelag in central Norway is known for urban highlights, historical sights, and coastal life mixed with world-class food experiences. The area is perfect for activities like hiking, skiing, cycling, and fishing.

The hospital is part of a healthcare corporation with close to 3500 employees. Their goal is to build an excellent healthcare service for the benefit of patients and the population, through patient care, patient and family education, research, and healthcare professional training.

Hva vi ser etter

Qualifications:

  • European authorization as a medical professional.
  • European certification as a radiologist.
  • General competence in CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and simple intervention procedures.
  • Strong advantage with expertise in MRI and/or mammography.
  • You need to be able to communicate in one of the Scandinavian languages before you start, if you do not already know any of these, a language course will be offered — free of charge.

  • Ability to work independently, systematically, and accurately.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • The hospital places great emphasis on personal suitability.

Arbeidsoppgaver

Responsibilities:

  • CT and X-ray.
  • Ultrasound and simple intervention procedures.
  • MRI and mammography.
  • Participate in the daily tasks of the department, including on-call duties. The hospital currently operates a 5-part on-call schedule for consultants, sometimes with resident doctors on primary call duty.
  • Active professional environment with many and varied challenges and close collaboration with clinical departments and primary healthcare services.
