Purchasers and Senior Purchaser
Vard Interiors is a turnkey supplier of interior, piping, and HVAC-R systems for the maritime industry. We offer a variety of different interior solutions and strive to provide an attractive working- and living environment on board for our customers.
The company is growing and we want you onboard for the journey! We are looking for 4 Purchasers/Senior Purchasers to handle different parts of our scope.
As part of the Procurement team, you will have the chance to utilize and develop your competence in the field of purchasing. You will be able to make use of our global network of suppliers to keep delivering quality solutions and stay competitive. You will have the possibility of working with the wide range of products and services that are included in our deliveries.
Duties and responsibilities
- Maintain the current supplier base and source potential new suppliers
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to deliver according to technical specification and targets
- Place orders and follow-up deliveries according to the project schedules
- Take active part in projects, keep the team updated and align on strategies
Qualifications
- Relevant higher education in Supply Chain management/ Procurement, or other relevant experience
- Good knowledge of English, verbal and written
