Chef, STEINBERGDALSHYTTA

Are you up for an adventure and not scared of hard work? Maybe ready for a change of environment?
Steinbergdalshytta is looking for our new chef for the summer season.
We want you who have a passion for tasty food and who realize that the food you create is an important part of the total experience of a stay at Steinbergdalshytta, that will make our guests want to return again and again. The range of good quality local ingredients here provides plenty of opportunities to excel in the kitchen. We want to enhance the role of vegetables, and they often play the main role on the table here. At Steinbergdalshytta we bake our own sourdough bread, forage, fish, brew beer and buy from local farmers.
Steinbergdalshytta is located in Aurland valley at 1070 masl, by road 50 Aurland Hol. Here you can combine busy workdays, friendly guests and co-workers with exciting outdoor activities. At Steinbergdalshytta we welcome hikers, car tourists, hunters, bikers and party guests.
Desired qualifications: Besides being passionate about colourful local and sustainable food, you are independent, effective and swift working. Order and cleanliness are essential, and you understand the importance of team work. Driver’s license is a big plus.
Work period: start or mid-June till end of September. The dates might be adjusted to you who apply.
We offer: Busy days in a great team. Terms and salary according to Riksavtalen. Housing provided.
