Kjøkkensjef sommersesong 2024 / Head chef summer season 2024
Position available for an experienced chef to run our kitchen and secure great food experiences, for summer season 2024.
Start up by agreement, preferably right before start of May. For the right candidate we are able to agree on a later start up and manage meanwhile. Seasonal position until end of August, 100% in average over all summer. Possibility for extending the contract some weeks, reduced work time should be expected (and a time to recover a little).
Small kitchen with menu based on local taste with international twist. High season is busy and you get a small team to work with you.
You are english speaking as minimum, by good health, are responsible, have understanding of effeciency and cost/revenue and you deliver as a positive team member. To tick all our boxes, you also have experience from norwegian or scandinavian cuisine. You are strong on great taste, the visuals and tempo in service. You organize the work tasks on the kitchen side in an efficient way, you are well trained for handling a busy, small kitchen during service also when you work alone. You are able to manage a small crew and make them grow.
You must be citizen of EU country or already hold a Norwegian Work Visa.
Accomodation in walking distance.
Great location for hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, photo and to be outdoors. Loal shop, pub, gym in the village.
