MRC Global is looking for their next Project Engineer

Job Purpose
Project Engineer – Valve instrumentation
Project management, follow up customers, quote services and technical solutions.
Plan and execute assignments regarding valve instrumentation inhouse and at customers premises.
Share knowledge of Instrumentation with MRC personnel, develop customers course in valve instrumentation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not all inclusive)
Individual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Working according to MRC Global procedures and instructions
• Reporting on project status, activity and achievements
• Project management and planning of RS
• Follow up projects at our workshop and at customers site
• Develop market for planning and executing assignments regarding instrumentation
• Develop courses for instrumentation for MRC and customers
• Assist Engineering department in questions regarding instrumentation
• Follow the department’s quality/HMS goals according to the MRC Global HSE and QA system.

Education, Experience & Ability Requirements
Any combination of requirements, which provide knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities, will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of Higher Education, Relevant practical experience can compensate for formal education
• Knowledge of instrument brands installed on Norwegian Shelf
• Field service experience
