Platform and Data analytics manager
Location: Larvik, Oslo or Stockholm.
Responsibilities and tasks
As the Platform and Data analytics manager your focus will be steering the development and maintenance of our service layer and critical data infrastructure and support a data-driven transformation. This includes maintaining components like our integration platform, master data storage, data warehouse and data lake or any other new component in the data platform or service layer. Your role is pivotal in enabling data accessibility, reliability, and scalability across the organization and thereby empowering strategic decision-making and enhancing operational efficiency.
As the Platform and Data analytics Manager, you will lead a team of architects and data analysts within the Norwegian and Swedish organization.
Your key responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the data strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives, including the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) for data quality, data management, and data governance.
- Technical Leadership: Ensure that your team provides the different IT departments and business with guiding principles and technical expertise to take right design and architecture decisions when implementing new solutions.
- Data Governance and Quality: Implement data governance policies and practices to ensure high-quality, consistent, and reliable data across all platforms. Manage data access rights and comply with data protection regulations.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with IT, business stakeholders, and external partners to define and meet data requirements, ensuring that the data analytics platform supports business objectives and user needs.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive the adoption of innovative data technologies and methodologies to enhance data analytics capabilities. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to continuously improve the service layer and data analytics offerings.
