Security Specialist

VARD's Cyber Resilience is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Security Specialist to strengthen our team. One of our goals now is to further develop a global Cyber Champions programme to build an interdisciplinary group across our organization that contribute to making our employees more independent and conscious, and raise their security skills. Join our mission to secure our global maritime operations, tackling critical information security challenges in an innovative way, with a deep understanding of the maritime industry.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Take ownership of our Security Awareness, Education and Training activities for VARD`s global operations and departments
  • Take lead on colleague recruitment for and further developing our Cyber Champions network
  • Working with Cyber Champions to support the upskilling of security knowledge to change ways of working within their teams and running culture sprints to adopt changes in behavior and security culture
  • Launching local- and eLearning initiatives, webinars, face to face training and workshops
  • Gathering feedback from champions during the development of eLearning
  • Perform data-driven behavior analysis to raise and develop a good security culture

    Qualifications

    In search of the right person, we aim widely for this position. We are looking for people educated and experienced in one or more of these areas:

    • Organizational Development and Change
    • Event management

    For all subject combinations, we require good digital competence and experience, both at user and system level.

    In addition, the candidate must be able to explain advanced technological principles in an easy and understandable matter to non-technical personnel.

    We also require an ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of seniority and disciplines within the organisation.
