Services Sales Engineer / Coordinator

A you ready to embark on an exciting journey? A great opportunity awaits you as Services Sales Engineer / Coordinator, reporting to Global Customer Support within Kongsberg Maritime. As a Services Sales Engineer / Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our dynamic Spares and Services Sales Team, providing essential support to our business.

In the role as Service Sales Engineer / Coordinator you will be providing aftermarket support for the complete portfolio of automation and control management deliveries to the fleet. New exciting products is continued being developed and added to the portfolio which creates curiosity and own development in the daily work. This role also provides a good opportunity to develop technical competencies for our products.

Responsibilities

  • Deliveries for software and hardware modifications, onboard services, and spare parts
  • Handle customer inquiries, manage orders and ensure seamless invoicing
  • Communicate and follow-up with resources out in field throughout service
  • Proactively offer field service and improve customer’s experience
  • Work with our technical support teams to resolve customer problems
  • Extensive customer communication on and close cooperation on with our Global Customer support teams worldwide

 

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor or technical / economics degree is preferred
  • Motivation for or experience within engineering, project, administration, economics
  • Technical / Maritime interest and background is an advantage
  • English and Norwegian language skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with customer contact and sales

 

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
